Saint Alphonsus Health System is proud to be named one of the Top 15 Health Systems in the country by IBM Watson Health. The study analyzes system metrics from publicly-available clinical, operational and patient perception of care data at more than 300 health systems across the country. Key performance measures in the report include inpatient and extended care quality, operational efficiency, financial health and patient experience.
Saint Alphonsus Health System has the region’s most advanced Trauma Center, which recognizes our dedication to providing the highest quality, most optimal care for all critically ill and injured patients. This distinction ensures we maintain the highest standards for chest pain, stroke, orthopedic and general surgery and emergency care. It also creates a foundation of medical excellence, innovation, and collaboration that makes the overall care all our patients receive throughout the region, that much better.
Our Mission guides everything we do. As Saint Alphonsus Health System continues our healing ministry into the 21st century, we are called to both serve others and transform care delivery. We reinvest our resources back into the community through new technologies, vital health services and access for everyone regardless of their circumstances.
We call our commitment “Community Benefit Ministry.”
Community benefit is an organized and measured approach to meeting community health needs. It implies collaboration with a “community” to “benefit” its residents by improving health status and quality of life.
